I'm not saying what webmaster talk currently uses, but what it could probably run on.
For Example:
GoDaddy offer $6.99 a month "economy plan" shared hosting.

Now we know all the space isn't going to be required hands down.
I doubt it'd get near the 1,000gb bandwidth cap. I mean I've got a site (hasn't been posted on here) that always has subscribers on and offers file downloads, using a heavily modded and resource consuming cms. This site alone, or all my sites for that fact, have never gone to my dedicated servers 2,000 gb cap. The ONLY time I have gone beyond that was when my server was exploited to attack other servers (nice bill I had after that)
When the
Steve Irwin Memorial first opened it was getting about 10 hits and new condolence messages everytime I refreshed and still with all those connections I did not come close to my bandwidth limit.
I also run some sites with vBulletin, now the traffic does not compare to webmaster talk's that is for sure, but there are always people on and the bandwidth is not much at all. The only bandwidth from that site is the video downloads. I am aware that forum systems can be taxing especially when lots of people are making connections on it, but still, vbulletin is a software optimised for this.
In conclusion I still stick to my $10 theory.

You'll get used to the changes pretty quick, probably too quick for WT's taste, as ad-blindness seems to set in pretty quickly on forums.
Screw the $10 cost. Who cares if they pay $10 or $10,000? What happened to someone's right to make a profit from their efforts? Are you suggesting that their time should be donated?

To be honest it's not that much big of a deal, however I do point out that the previous bar was nicely built in. I do also applaud that the webmaster tries to cover some of the hosting costs and also has the ad revenue sharing on.
Just pointers not extreme criticisms really.
Of course every webmaster has the right to profit from their efforts, I do the same.
The change was just rather unexpected and I wanted to share my thoughts in the first post, and they are the thoughts I had at that moment. However now I am beginning to adjust to it so it is not as bad, but still I think the previous header was better eye candy.
