Questions for Forum Owners and/or Administrators
1) How long has your forum been around?
2) What administrative tasks do you perform on a regular basis?
3) What features / capabilities are essential to your forum?
4) What are some (say 3) of the complaints you have with the technology you employ?
5) What are some things that you wish you could provide through your forum?
6) How do you generate revenue through your forum?

OK, I give up. Why am I dum bass? My goal is get input from owner/admin types. I was guided to this thread. Pushed out the previous post. Got 34 looks and no replies, which I believe is thread-talk for "what a dum bass". Correct? Any suggestions on how to get the answers I'm looking for (and not looking quite so stupid along the way)? Thnx in advance, cwg

You might try asking one or two questions at a time.

I'll answer one of the questions.
4) What are some of the complaints you have with the technology you employ?

My forum is phpbb based so most of the complaints that I receive are people requesting features that they have seen on other forums (usually vBulletin) that, for the most part are not available on phpbb.

However, the 3.0 release will have more of those features.
