What is the legal stance of the owners of a Proxy website if someone decides to do illegal activities or abuse that proxy?

I recently purchased a proxy and would like to learn about this before engaging it more.

I think that if there is a legal disclaimer with a link on all of the pages of the site, then it shouldn't be a huge problem. I'm not an expert in this, so you should probably see what other people say first.

Just say you aren't liable for any activities done with this proxy server and that should be good maybe..:P
