Well not yet, but I'm working on it. And once I finish, I'm gonna go back in time and give myself the functional design. Then I won't have to do any work to invent it.

Yes but then in order to not destroy the space time continuum your past self would have to give the functional design to your past self's past self and then your past self would be left without a time machine because he never did any of the work. The same would be true for your past self's past self and his past self.

Also if you are already working on your time machine then your future self should have already delivered it to you, unless your future self is a greedy bastard. So either you failed or you are greedy. Either way you just learned something about yourself

Hey John - while you're back there can you please do a couple of small things for me? Invest a few bucks in Google just when their stock floated, same with Microsoft and Cisco. Then kidnap me just before I marry my ex-wife, have me drugged and put on a very slow boat to China.

Well if you're taking favors... I have the answers to a few midterms I've taken. How about you give them to me sometime in september of 05 right before I start college.
