What is the best professional DVD Maker out there besides Adobe?

I want a program that you can alter the video in the program and stuff, like fade it out and in, put backing music in it and stuff like that.

Hope someone can help.

I don't know how professional Nero 7 would be for what you want, but I know it'll do it, and it costs around $70. I've helped my friends figure out how to do stuff like this with Nero, and I have no aptitude whatsoever.

I'm with the Nero bunch, but have also used Windows for WMV files and it works quite well, too. And it's bundled with Windows if you don't want to purchase anything (and have Windows, of course

).
