What soaps do you watch on TV? I watch Neighbours myself - basically because my family have never got into watching Eastenders, Coronation Street or most other soaps.

What about you?

Can I class The Simpsons as a soap?

On a daily basis, I watch The Simpsons and probably the news. But apart from that, the only time I watch telly is to watch Prison Break and Lost.

They are sometimes fairly stupid, but once you get into the plot, you don't want to miss an episode.

I'd also like to say I watch the Simpsons, though I wouldn't class them as a soap really

Not sure if anything i watch would be classified as a soap but usually watch stuff like sports, UFC, Scrubs, Southpark, Real World. I guess the real world is kinda like a soap but more drama then anything.

I hate soaps because I don’t have time to persistently watch every episode
and if you miss one the rest stop making any sense.

No offense, but I cringe every time I walk by my mom when she is watching General Hospital. Now I do watch Friday Night Lights. That is almost like a soap opera, but I would never admit it to anyone outside of this board.

No soaps for me. Don't have the time and don't want to devote it consistently to a TV show.

I was brought up watching General Hospital and One Life to Live. Didn't watch them for years, now I have DVR. I record them both every day, but I usually end up erasing days at a time without watching them because I don't have the time to sit in front of the tv. Other than those two, Blood Ties, Family Guy & Supernatural I don't watch tv. I will DVR Blood Ties & Supernatural with the same results as the soaps. I would say I watch less than 4 hours total of tv a week.
