Getting back on topic, the first one is a lot more relevant. I write moderately well, but not 'artistically,' and I can't draw a stick figure to save my life. I wanted to create something visual to capture how I felt with a radial head compound-fracture and a bad rib, and after that and a few others somewhat like it, I actually did start feeling better. Here was another one; Seattle is a superficially friendly place, but not very welcoming beyond small talk. They call it "the Seattle freeze." Being just about crippled, and being used to hiking with my friends who were still spending their weekends on mountain sides, I shot this one, too:
It's not that photography is the answer ... the camera is just a tool I'm very familiar with. Praveen is good with a pen, able to use one in the same way. If you can find a way to get it out, you stop needing to carry things around with you sometimes.
