Good link. Yeah, I knew about the cesium tube experiment being an illusion. I'd actually read about that one awhile back, but my impression was that the experimenters never claimed that this was actually FTL being observed; moreover, I thought that they had been careful to point out that it wasn't.
I really haven't, OTOH, found anything for or against my idea that as mass/energy approaches infinity close to c that space contracts as time dilates, thus creating a wormhole effect and making FTL happen without actually going FTL. Mass and energy bending space and time are hallmark to relativity theory; I would find it extremely odd it no one considered that in determining whether the "speed limit" could be bent, so to speak.
