All you've done is sorted them by alexa rank and said that the forum with the highest rank is the best, which is hardly the case. Don't you think that that's a little arbitrary?

How dare you to doubt "authenticity" of Alexa’s Rating?
Don’t you know that every 1 person in 10,000 use Alexa’s ToolBar because
they are know that Alexa don’t sucks (oh well, [unnecessary comment deleted to keep forum with General rating]) and that without Alexa Internet will cease to exist?
You should know that by now

Placing Digital Point at the top of the list (and having webmaster-talk at position number 17) pretty much destroys the credibility of the list.

I did not say that they are sorted from best to worst (they are sorted by alexa). Read the title again it says worlds best webmaster forums and I am sure your favorite is in the list Peace

Making the list's Alexa rank and num. position sort exactly the same implies the list is ranked that way.
(Also, some others might not know where to click right away, as there's no rollover action)

Of course, this thread could be taken as spam since it was only to advertise a specific site, of which belongs to the thread originator.
One external link to go, please.

The list implies the one with the best Alexa rank is the best forum.

Webmaster talk as an alexa rank of 8,254 - also DP is the largest forum.

Oh well, Whatever rank it is, the important thing is that people in the forums could get help or share ideas and could be of help to others most specially the newbies...

Are you saying that size and rank are related? Explain why there are forums
on that list that are higher ranking than WT with half as many members/posts.
Most of us know how easy it is to manipulate alexa rank.

That's actually a decent point, zeruel.
Larger forums, such as DigitalPointless, are so active that many legitimate posts
go unnoticed because they get buried under tons of crap posts.

I agree that zeruel has a good point. The reason I stayed with Webmaster-Talk is people get help with their questions.
I used to frequent a Linux forum and if your question was a few hours old, it was on the second page already.

I definitely agree with you also on this. A lot of buried thread with no replies happens mostly on some forums... Which is I think not good to the thread starter most specially if he/she is asking for something important and needs advice...

Hmm.. so you mean to say that a forum gained their Alexa because of
posting a crap posts? Or maybe because the forum is more populated
than the other?

Neither.
Alexa had absolutely nothing to do with with my remark to zeruel.
