My thread is about the totality of monetizing our websites.

Some may find this offensive so let me apologize to them as they say goodbye. If you think websites are a mythical beast that are only created to distribute pages full of words and pictures then please leave there is nothing for you here.

To everyone else a sincere welcome and please feel free to share your experiences about your money winners for your sites. Please say why you think they are good and be honest. Adsense is great so we will leave that one alone if you please.

Your turn.

I run a lot of web sites that are monetized by methods just like Pay Per Play
  1. Muder-For-Hire.com is a great idea I had that's a combination of Facebook, eBay, and contract killing. We have a pool of service people ("murderers"), and enough people coming to our site posting info about who they need out of the way. Then the service people bid on each project, and I keep 15 % of each transaction. A single murder ranges from $7,000 to $75,000 so that's good monetization!
  2. Crack-Hoes-For-You.com is a local site I put together. Sure I spread herpes through my community, but what the heck, I'm making money.
  3. How-To-Rob-A-Granny.com needs more work. Right now it's a voluntary donation system. I teach people how to avoid granny mace, where to push them over, how many stairs they can shove an old lady down before they need a lawyer, and even how to figure out which pills in the medicine cabinet to steal.
  4. Opium-By-Mail.com because Karl Marx was wrong. Religion isn't the opiate of hte people, opium is. And I want a piece of it!
  5. BotNets-R-Us.com in case you need a distributed denial of service attack on your competitors.
Yer right, forget those mythical web sites that are useful to people. ***** better have my money!

fastreplies please let me thank you for your help to my thread readers as I am sure the wisdom in your descriptive garbage, oops I meant *verbiage* took you a long time to think up, and I appreciate you allowing us all to get a fuller picture of you as a fellow human being.

You state, " This way you’ll get your money back and we’ll continue to make our living by building pages with words and pictures" which obviously shows us all you do no research you just take your hands from wherever they have been...and let them type. If you had taken a couple of seconds to visit my site you would see;

Before you jump in I am not "flaming you" just stating a fact.

(1) It costs nothing to join, nothing down the road and nothing never for members.
(2) All costs are met by the hundreds of advertisers on board.
(3) People who actually enjoy helping people join fast as they see their help is rewarded.

There is much more but I feel numbers above three are above your grade level. This is not an attack just "a feeling," if I am wrong please accept my mis-guided feelings and no that was not an incorrect sentence.

Chris if you stop by please tell me how to moderate this thread as I do not wish to banter with uninformed posters who have no constructive reason to be here. If not that is okay to. I'll continue to help those that want it regardless.

Anyone with something constructive or positive say about this topic?

Cheshire Cat thank you and that will help some members but please read the forum rules and place affiliate links in your sig only. You can give examples without hyper links.

If your looking for ways to increase site revenue, here's an article you might find interesting:

Just an example of how one blog was able to do it.

Thank you James, a great piece of work. I especially liked Steve's statement.

"And unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your outlook), smart people are a minority on this planet. So while most people can’t make a living this way, I would say that most smart people can. How do you know whether or not you qualify as smart? Here’s a good rule of thumb: If you have to ask the question, you aren’t."

Keep them coming. I am away for a short while trying to find a great forum software. I have an additive that would double Steve's take.

I think this thread should have gone in one of the forums in the Internet Marketing and SEO Talk category. Keep the junk out of the General forum

If you want to make money, you could put annoying ads such as pop-ups or audio. Will annoy the hell out of most, but you can get the real suckers.

Actually I think it should have gone in the Gen. Business Forum, as it pertains to making money and monetizing websites.

I "think it should be here" what is your point, proving to others you think, okay how does this pertain to the topic?

It does not.

Alright, that's it, I'm putting my boots in here. This thread is out of hand and going nowhere, it is officially closed.

BJOCK, you need to tone it down and mind the attitude. The members here are pretty clearly telling you what they think, the topic doesn't really belong in the 'General Discussion' area, there are other areas here that are more in line with it. You can put your topic there, but park the attitude and the insults.

Oh, and if you paid any attention, the links that CheshireCat used were BOGUS.
