Just found out from some times from Lady (thanks) that IE 8 is coming out, er scheduled to come out, in the next few months and FF 3 is available for download (both in beta). Anyway, my question is how can I install these and keep the non-beta versions working too? I could never figure out how to install IE 6 and keep IE 7 too.

VMs. I bet FireFox can work with non virtualized side by side installs, but IE being wrapped into the operating system can't. That's why you could never get 6 and 7 to run together, because they won't. Microsoft's approach was to put out a free virtual machine with XP and IE 6 for web people.

Thanks! Can you tell this uneducated one where I could get a VM? I've never set those up either.

Figured I'd update this thread. Last night I installed FF 3 and found out that I can install it at the same time as FF 2, so that may help people.

Out of curiosity, how do you all think the changes to stylesheet parsing will affect currently-existing sites? I see there were a few changes to support the smily face test from the CSS spec, but haven't had time to conduct a test on my current stuff.
