Dear friends,

i have just reinstalled my XP operating system. After that i cannot hear any sound in my speakers. Please help me to hear sound. i have tried in control panel, but no sound option is there. All options are disabled

Please help me.

I have reinstalled th OS. But nothing happened. Not at all working

Your problem would be that you are now missing sound drivers from the obvious reinstall

What you do, is you search for them! If you've had your computer pre-installed, that is, when you bought it, everything worked, try checking your companies website.

I know that HP offers all of their drivers, and original software, on their website .. so it would be a great place to start!

Also keep in mind that you are NOT only missing sound drivers. Video drivers and such have also disappeared from the OS reinstall.

Yes, you're right, But i have lost all the CDs that given by company. Also I bought only assembled PC not from company

I need to activate my sound immediately. I have downloaded Real teck Driver & have installed it. But still PC shows driver not installed.

One more thing my icons are also disappeared. I'm able to see only text in my PC

Download the bus driver, then the realtek driver. Try finding what you need on the net, with simple Google searches. I don't know about your icons.
