Great show to watch if you're an uber geek like myself. Found the information behind the "Browser Wars" pretty intriguing. Back in '92 when I first started developing sites, Netscape Navigator was where it was at. It still makes me laugh when I think about my first sites saying, "Best viewed using Netscape Navigator".
It was also interesting to see how Microsoft launched a personal war against Mosaic and eventually won.
On a side note, one of the co-founders of Netscape is named Rob McCool. What a dope name!  |
