I have a job interview over the phone for today! with a company called Sykes www.sykes.com If I get the job I will be a Technical Support Analyst for Sony computers and products. The idea of a phone interview is freaking me out I have to just sit here waiting for a phone call.

I can't stand phone interviews! You can't see the interviewers facial expressions so I tend to stumble over my own words.

yeouch, I've never done a phone interview. I'm much more comfortable speaking in person than I am on the phone though, good luck man!

Phone interviews aren't that bad. The worst part is waiting for the phone to ring. Good luck!!!

I've had one before, I had bad reception and low battery so I ended up searching around for my cell phone charger while saying "What was that? Sorry I didn't hear you."

It ended up being an hour long which I think qualifies as the longest I've ever been on the phone other than being on hold with the cable company or something like that.

Phone interviews aren't bad at all. Stand up, smile, all that ... body language shows up in your voice, too. And relax; you'll do fine.

I did the phone interview it was a 20min call did stumble a few times but about an hour later I got a call back and they want me to come in for a face to face interview now whoo! it that does ok I have to do an exam.

LOL..just don't worry about it. Be positive. Keep confidence in yourself. And i am sure you are going to get this job. And lol.....Don't be nervous.

Thanks there is 3 parts to getting this job

1. the phone interview.
2. the face to face interview.
3. an exam on how well I know pc's.

one down two to go.

I am not sure which interview i would prefer face to face or telephone they can both be nerve wracking good luck with the second one though.

Thanks, The face to face and the exam are tomorrow at 2pm I got a tip off about what some of the questions are going to be like.

1: What is RAID?

2: What is BIOS?

3: What is Windows Aero?

4 What is the difference between a bridge and a router?

5: What is the difference between a blue ray disc and a HD DVD disc?

6: Intel is a type of processor. Name 2 other makes of processors?

I know what they are but would'nt realy be able to go into any detail on them apart from the Blu-ray and the Processors questions there are 20 questions in total diffecult questions that is if there going to be like the ones above.

Did the interview and I am glad to say it could'nt have went better took 2 hours in total, exam, sitin and the interview will know in the next few days if I have the job or not.
