Hey guys. I'm starting up a review site and I am toying with several ideas of payment/reward for those willing to write the reviews.

I think I will implement some sort of points system where each review earns a certain number of points. They can then be exchanged for either vouchers or actual money.

My question is, if you were writing the reviews how much would you be willing to accept per review?

I realise you will ask questions like how many words, and all that sort of stuff. And my answer is simply enough to fill the review and 'make it good'. I'm just looking for an average figure...

Does review mean an informative weighing of pros and cons attributed to a particular subject, or does review mean pay per link SEO?

Well in that case definitely each review is worth more than if it were PPP!

Any more info to share? I'd charge about 10x more to review a Tori Amos concert or album compared to a concert or album involving Dan the Automator. In either case, I'd probably want the price of the concert ticket or of the album so that it's not costing me money to review, plus a little extra for my time as a writer. I wouldn't charge for the actual hour it takes to listen to a CD, tho.
