I've been working on trying to think of the next big web application idea such as myspace, twitter, and other well known web apps. It is quite challenging thinking of things people couldn't live without that we don't already have as the human mind is normally limited to only things it already knows. So i'm requesting your help
does anyone know anything that would be a good web app idea? Like, making free software such as CMS's or Forum software and releasing it would be good, but thats re-inventing the wheel. I'm talking something new...
Any ideas... just throw them around, legit ideas. Anything that you think would be a useful website app... like how on twitter you can post what you're doing and all of your friends can see it, and you can as well post from cell phone, etc....
All ideas are welcomed. So far, heres what I've been throwing around (keep in mind i throw aroudn plenty of crap ideas every day):
--Free web groupware system where (teams/groups) can sign up, register members... and inside each group can post documents/files, have discussion boards, and other. I believe similar aspects of this can be found in googles services though
throw around ideas, i'm interested to hear and work off legit ideas to possibly build upon the next big web app idea.
