Cross post. A friend of mine keeps sending me these interesting links, and this is one I think a lot of people around here will get a kick out of.

http://www.marketingcharts.com/inter...-diverse-3432/

Bloggers are younger and better educated but earn less than the general U.S. adult (18+) population - and they are more likely to be single, male, and actively engaged in new media, according to a study by BIGresearch.
Of those who blog occasionally or regularly (26% of the [online] population):
  • 53.7% are male.
  • Nearly half (44.7%) are married.
  • One in 10 (10.4%) are students.
  • 28.4% hold a professional or managerial position.

I fit all those criteria . It's surprising though that the study says that only 1/10 bloggers are students, I thought it would have been higher, maybe around 35-40% or so.

More or less, yeah, he's spamming me. Although it's someone who decided I'm an intellectual and so would enjoy stuff - the guy isn't actually trying to profit off me.

Does anyone else still get slightly tweaked at the internet still being called 'new media'? Reminds me of a stand up act I saw like a decade ago.

"I'm not really into computers, of course saying your not really into computers nowadays is like saying you aren't really into phones."

Or something like that.
