I personally love my trackball, but I know others who cannot stand them. I find them so much easier to use then a mouse. What do you use?

I must say that I never tried the trackball.

It may solve my space problem though...

Same basic concept (no cord), but no blinking light either. Batteries last longer, and mouse works better.

Trackball here...the only thing I would use in design work ( a leftover from my autocad days). It also saves my wrist

Wireless keyboard and a wireless optical mouse.

No need for any mouse mats.

I use a rollerball mouse, or whatever you like to call it. I think optical mouse(s) tend to be unrelable, from my experience. Either that or I always end up with a cheap or defective product. That's always my luck.

Mouse, personally I cannot stand trackballs. I firmly believe I have 100 times as much control with my MX1000. It is an exceptional mouse. I have a couple of them.

Trackball at home & work. Due to the size of my hands almost all mice are too small to use for long periods of time so a nice large trackball does the job quite well.

I am not a huge fan of a Trackball. They aren't that comfortable.. For my hands at least. I use an optical, wireless Microsoft mouse that fits my needs for my laptop computer. I have tried a Trackball and they just didn't cut it for me.. The ball reminded me of the old, old mouse from the older generation notebook computers.

I don't like trackballs, I prefer optical mice, its so funny taking the ball out of a rollerball and replacing it with a malteser and seeing how long it takes for them to notice. I use optical mice to prevent that happening to me.
