Okay, I'm buying some Ipod accessories for my car, and I need to know what to get. I need something reliable, but nothing that's goind to cost me more than $xx - $xxx.

What I need is this:

1) some sort of holder to place my ipod on. I was considering this.

2) I need something that is both a car charger and something that will allow me to play my Ipod music through my car stereo. I was considering this. Good buys? Bad buys?

Some advice?

I'm going to be hooking my iPod upto my car when I pass my driving lessons, just going to get an iTrip and some sort of holder for the iPod which will keep it charged as well.

Better than creating hundreds of CD's with music.

Harman Kardon Drive + Play. Seems very good, nice price at £149 as well.

Wow. That's pretty sweet.

EDIT: I found it funny that it costs basically as much as the ipod though.

Well, for those interested (if there were any of you

) I ended up getting what I specified in my first post. Hopefully I'll be using it in a few days when it ships from amazon.com.

www.ebay.com is a great resource for IPOD accessories.
I have bought some, for example a USB connector since the one coming with the IPOD did not work . ..aargh!

Yeah, I browsed ebay for a few days... thing is, prices were cheap, but shipping was like $xx. And if I wanted to return it, I'd get like only a few bucks back, plus have to pay for first time and return shipping.

Anyway, I bought my stuff, so thanks.

Sorry I was late to this.

I have the Monster Cable you linked. I drove across country with it. I had to change the frequency a couple of times during my 3 day trip, but I was able to find another frequency that wasn't getting interferance.

I live outside of DC and it seems to work pretty good. I've only had to change frequencies once.
