Yeah, some 12 year old drowned my iPod in iced tea

Its been sitting around my house for like a week and not working or holding a charge or anything.

I'm sorry to hear that.

I have an IPod and I am very very into music so that would be devastating to me. Since you found it, at least you didn't pay for it. I would still bring it to an Apple store and see what they can do. What kind of IPod was it if you don't mind me asking?

Sorry to hear that. I spilled a supersize Coke on my Powerbook once. Fried 2 daughter cards and had to replace the keyboard and do some serious cleaning so Apple wouldn't know it was Coke that did the damage.

Fortunately they fixed it under warranty but it taught me a valuable lesson and now I keep everything but water away from my electronics.... and I'm extra careful with that.

I know how you feel though.I remember my mp3 player drowning in milk, really bad experience....YIKES!

Was a 30gb video iPod, white.

I COULD take it to an Apple store, but erm, it could have been reported stolen and stuff like that........

Anyways, it wasn't me who did it though, I just found the iced tea can face down in my backpack with my iPod and other stuff in it :-P
