Just like the topic says.

My husband is a computer illiterate - no clue. He loves that I can make money online - but refuses to allow me to have a blog.
o.O

Loves the money one of the sites Ive got makes - but looks accusatory at me when I tell him about another similar site that makes 20 times more. As if I'm hiding something. o.O

So - is your girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/wife at the same level of competency in terms of computers/internet? Do they share your interest in the internet?

Yes, my wife helps me with our internet business, when we are not competing or practicing our ballroom dancing.

I badger him weekly to write a tiny, little article but he hasn't obliged in about a year now.

My wife doesn't understand a lot of the technical side of what I do online, but she handles the accounting and business side of things for me, which helps a lot. She's also great for moderating user comments and answering emails to our various sites. She's also gradually learning more and more about running sites. I've given her a forum that she's completely in charge of setting up and launching. She's doing great so far. I was really impressed with how quickly she figured out how to customize the vBulletin settings!

My wife loves the internet but to bad her cup of tea is reading jokes, emails and forwarding me her chain emails " Pass this along and you will be rewarded" lol.

But on a serious note she is as of this week writing her first ebook, I am gonna try and develop a site for her to sell it, and write the ad copy. No other ebook out there like it , matter of fact she may be the first. But I am glad she is trying to get her feet wet.

Sure as hell makes it a lot easier when the significant others are atleast semi interested in the capabilities to earn online. Otherwise there would be a lot of us living in the doghouse.

My girlfriend only uses the internet for three things - Hotmail (she won't even let me give her a gmail account because she's scared she won't know how to use it) - AOL Instant Messenger, and MySpace.

To make matters worse, she still considers my job a bit skeptical and doesn't understand what I do, nor does she have an interest in it.

Oh well.

Similar to here .. i explain my projects to her often to get her opinion. So she knows what i tell her .. and often good to bounce ideas off of being that she isnt directly involved with it all ..

My wife is the brains behind my operation...lol

She surfs the web a bit for news and other stuff, helps me with a lot of week to week decisions, but isn't familiar with the details of how I do what I do.

My girlfriend doesn't even have an email address. She detests communicating over the internet, but is the text message queen? Go figure hah.
