I have a laptop and it's not workin right now...
Before I had problem with motherboard and i got new one from DELL and then it worked fine for 4 months... Well motherboard was 3 months warranty only and now whenever i try to charge the laptop with batter.. it doesnt work i mean it doesnt show da light for batter. Is it da problem in battery or is it MotherBoard again?
Because the Light in batter comes up green, but when i plug it into laptop on da back, it doesnt charge my laptop ( ( whats da deal... someone tell me plzz thanxx

You purchased from Dell, direct? It only had the 90 day warranty? I would call and extend the warranty - then once you get it, turn it in. Yeah, it may sound shady... but Dell is a shady company lately.

Dell has EXCELLENT customer support. They've helped me out with my laptops problems even AFTER our 1 year warranty expired. Just call them up and explain your plight and they should help you out.

I had the same problem with my HP laptop after a year of owning it. Turns out, there was a thunderstorm the night before and I had it plugged in.. I sent it to HP and they said something was fried and fixed it for me. Luckily, Best Buy tricked me into buying their 3-year warranty

Dell has horrible customer support. In fact they have one of the worst in the business. I've had the worst trouble with them and I don't even own a Dell!

I have helped a few clients with there laptop problems and contacting them is just a nuisance.

As for your problem, I would have to say the battery is either drained or the AC adapter port it dislodged from the motherboard. Sending it to Dell would be your best bet, but you can't really rely on when you will get it back.. I would say 2 to 4 weeks at least. That's how long a few of my clients waited as it's a pain in the behind to go "inside" a notebook.

Hope this helps, feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
