I've been thinking about merging two of my communities together and I was wonder how hard it would be.

I want to do it like this...
-Users from the other board will have the same skin from the other site
-Merge a particular forum into one of the bigger ones.

I think its pretty hard, because the members are by number, right?

Then you'd have lots of memebers with the same member ID...

I'd wipe out the user ID column, add it to the other database and it'd be re-numbered.

I don't think it'd be too hard if you know what you're doing.

I think it should be pretty easy with a PHP script, however I advise you ask the full process on the vBulletin.com/.org forums. They will give you much better guidance/advice etc.

I wouldn't, you'd end up with a lot more hassle than it's worth.

Merging two forums together is actually very simple. Go read up on the Impex system on vBulletin.com

Or you can pay someone *cough* me *cough* to do it all for you.

Yep, we just did this over at AdminFusion and with my co-admin's help and Zachery's help it was no problem.
