I was just thinking as many entrepreneurs and bright thinkers are members here, we should try to get together some regional conferences as EarnersForum grows. I'd make the drive if it was close enough - and I'd fly there if I couldn't drive!

I'd love to get together with some bright minds and trade thoughts and ideas on promotion, seo, web dev, business, etc.

Thoughts?

That'd be awesome. I think Lee is from Texas so if it's held somewhere down south, I'd probably be able to attend.

That would be amazing. Unfortunately, unless it's held in the midwest, chances are I wouldn't be able to attend.

I say we make it in the South East... Atlanta, Charlotte, Charleston.... That would give the members up north a better chance to attend.

I always see conferences in Houston, Dallas,Miami, Sandiego, Las Vegas, NY, etc etc/// would be nice for a change to have one in the southeast thats not mini cuba.

Get adventurous and move around a little

Beley and I were talking earlier and NC<SC would be ideal

Or better yet have a series of them.. one for SE, NE, MW, SW, NW..then everyone has a chance to attend!

Web Conference would be convenient for me because I can't buy a plane ticket for like $600 to get over Texas from Pakistan.

I think a ticket from Sweden costs, about $1000 - 1500, so for it to be really worth it I have to plan a vacation with it he he

Yeah the only real issue is that ones living on the west coast and earning 500 a month wouldnt really be able to pay for a ticket to the east coast or even to TX for that matter.

One thing that always bothers me about the conventions is that they have them at locations where its not as accessible for some to hit.

Thats why I thought that if you could throw one for some of the members in charlotte,nc ( NC<VA<DC<GA<TN) could all attend,, the throw one in TX ( TX<LA<AL<AR<OK) could attend etc etc... Just dont do one where people have to travel halfway across the country to attend.

My idea was simply to have everyone pitch in 50 bucks and whoever attended would have to pay for their own stay like normal,, but just rent out a conference room at a nice hotel or something and just have a big *** brainstorm festival. Network face to face, maybe even place teams of people randomly and let them take a laptop and design a site as a team , then at the end of the 2 days are what not see who was generating the most cash, or hold prizes for the most unique design, best concept, fastest site to 100 uniques etc etc.. Just something cool to do. But mainly to network.
