I have a standered account, cpanel with mysql etc. its free and its with my mates server.
But its got a bit messy or so i think... im pretty sure it never used to look like it did.
for example it has directories like:
.autorespond
.cpaddons
.cpanel-datastore
.entropybanner
.htmltemplates
.htpasswrds
and others...
what are the directorys i need to keep? for example i think .htpasswrds is important but not sure :\
would really appreciate your help

EDIT: also if i may ask, whats the difference between the public_html directory and the www one? seeing that more or less if one is updated so is the other one...
