It seems the Republicans in the US want to protect Americans from the evils of online gambling by trying to pass laws that will imprison all those with a pack of cards or dice in their ownership. They are to sue Microsoft for including card games in their operating systems.
I jest of course, but it does seem a worrying trend, sure some people with OCD issues will lose all their money and go bankrupt. But is it for a government to stop consenting adults spending their money in such a way?
I have a little poker blog that pays for my cappuccino every day, so I guess I may have to go back to instant.

I plan to build an underground poker club and lure adults who lack intellectual acuity into spending all their money. I will have deep pockets and become infamously known as the Ace of Spades. I shall then join the postal force and become a mailman.
I'd say they're serious about it. They nabbed one guy who was switching planes in the US on his way from London to Costa Rica (his offshore gambling corporation is based in Costa Rica). Definately trying to send a message.
