How useful would a security cam be?

I was thinking about buying one but I thought to myself that I don't really need one.. But like one @ the front door wouldn't hurt.. It'd help me from getting up if someone rang the doorbell and it was a pointless person eh? :detective:

Man, I've been thinking about getting some security cameras for the house. I've seen back then on TechTV (I think) where they had a show reviewing various security cameras and they were pretty cool.

I'd get them mainly to keep a watch on my front yard and the garage area but that's pretty much it.

Other than that, yes it'd be pretty pointless.

i want a security camera right outside my room lol, and a door bell too, it is pretty pointless but who cares, its not like im gonna get it, just a thought, but it wouldnt hurt to get one

I've been thinking about this for a while. Our area is almost crime free, (think Pleasantville) so it's really mostly just because I can do it that I want one.

I just want to be able to monitor the perimeter. Maybe setup a garden and bird cam too. lol
