What was the first website you made, and is it still online? I know that I look back and wonder how I was so unsophisticated (not to mention I didn't pay attention to color, contrast, typography, or balance.) However, it was (X)HTML Strict compliant, and that made me happy.

I don't think it exists anyone. I have built many horrible sites, and they are all gone. Man, that is wierd to look back at them.

My first website is still online but I haven't updated it in ages. I keep it because it is a PR5 and it gets a few clicks a day.

It's also nice to put text links on it that link to my other sites.

Mine was a geocities website, which isn't online anymore. I have a few Geocities ones before I got bored and started learning HTML.

Thank go they're not online now, they were awful!!

The first website I ever made is no longer online and I probably already deleted the files off my hd a few years ago.

I wipe my hard drive every few months because of all the crap. How can you keep yours for a few years?

Mine was my uni homepage back in 2000. It had a 500kb background made from the ocean ripples filter.:thumbup: Not online anymore.

Would have been a pain on dial-up. I think one of my first pages had over 2mb in moving images.

My first site was on geocities. I wish it were still there to show you. It had java applets, music, and animated gifs. lol

mine was a talkcity.com profile page. it was myspace 10 years before myspace :P i then moved over to geocities... and added blink tags, fire icons, and crap. lol
none of them are still online any more

My first website was based off a free template :s But I was really proud of that website. Now I make my sites from scratch and when I look back at my first websites it's so heart warming

Anyways I think I deleted those old designs a while ago.
