Hello,

I am a small domainer. I have about 35 domain names and so far, I have made $300 USD selling 2 .be domain names $150 each!

How about you? Do you buy/sell domains?

Never really got into the domain buying/selling business, I have around 30 domains, but never sold any of them.

I would like to call myself a domainer. I have about 50 or 60 domain names and have only just started looking into selling a few. Have had them all parked at Sedo for a couple of weeks, but no offers or anything yet. Even though a few of them I think are quite nice.

I have a nice size portfolio. I've made some really good sales. My largest one domain sale was $1200.

Definitely not, I own maybe 10 domains, and all were stupid names for projects I wanted develop at one time. My best domain would be www.talktutorials.com but its still only worth low xxx at best

I'd like to start buying and selling domains, but I find it too speculative, currently. I see no fixed appraisal strategies to count on. Something I'm trying to change at Site Flip and with websiteauctionhub.com, though...

Incidentally, you guys can promote your domains that are for sale, for free, via my Site Flip newsletter. Just subscribe, and reply as to why people would be interested in your deal.

Incidentally, how did you guys get started domaining?

I've sold a few, but nothing too big. My biggest sale so far was Lucky7.net for $300 ... but I've had a ton of $50-$150 sales so far (since May when I bought my first domain).

I used to buy and sell domains, but didn't make much from them. Now I just register domains for website development. Maybe once in a while I'll register domain names (if I find good ones) and put them up for sale.

I have around 80 domains, most are for future development.

That's the last time I counted anyway....
I often find when I'm looking for domains available on my desired topics that I stumble across ones that I already one. I guess I have all the ones I need for now!

The best thing to do really is buy and develop. Most domains that are for sale are really obscure. However, there are the rare gems that you register that turn out to be profitable.

I have a lot of domains but I'm not a domainer. I could never have the patience it takes for selling just domain names.

Now selling sites.. that's different

If I see a nice domain for a decent price I'll pick it up, develop it and sell it for about 5x the price I bought the domain for.

Ive sold probably mmm 30 domains total, but most of them to fellow domainers at domainer prices. Recently though sold one for $125 to a developer and a couple months ago sold another for $150.

Best sale was $500 for an automotive related domain.

Probably total about $1,500 -$2000.

Im sitting on around 60 domains atm, and to be honest id like to sell most of my portfolio in the near future.

I've traded a couple hundred domains and reinvested that money into some websites. Maybe I'll jump back into the domain game.
