Hi!

If you are really good with computers can you tell me why my computer is screwed up:

When i switch the computer on it stays on the Windows xp thing and does move on!!

Please don't give any silly questions i really need an answer!

did u install a new video card? if u did, thats probably the problem, i had kinda the same problem when i installed a new video card, my old one was built in to the mother board and i forgot to disable it, if u tell us that was the problem, i may be able to help u further, if it was something else, u have to be more specific on what u did

I'm really not sure... i just installed XP one day before it happened.... i woke up switched my computer on went downstairs and got my breakfast and came back up and it still had the WIndows thing up! :O I switched it off and switched it on again and still happened!! Im really peeved off! Some please help!

maybe u didnt install it the right way, i never really installed windows xp myself so i wouldnt know, but i have a friend that may be able to help u, i'll ask him for u later when i get the chance

You can disable the onborad gfx card by going into bios when your computer is starting up. Its a simple process. :thumbup:
