Do any of you actually have a membership to WebmasterWorld? Do you find it to be a beneficial source of information?

I started with it around 2000 or 2001 and it was the best back then.
Some would argue it is still the best, but there are a lot more sources of info now than back then.

Oh, and when I started there, I was telling them that Altavista was surely going down, and would never make it. I was in the minority then, and people were telling me there was no way Altavista could lose their position.

I'd like to see more opinions about them. I registered and posted a question and got one reply after a couple of days and next time I went to visit, they were an entire paid site.

I didn't have a very high opinion from my little experience, but then once they were a paid site, I found each time I had a question and did a search, their forums would come up on google for what I was wanting to know. lol

The price seems a bit steep considering there are many other sites that offer similar, but again I didn't have much time spent there to really form a fair opinion.

It used to be one of the best out there and that gave you the best info, but now it lacks compared to bigger forums like DP and EF!
