I don't know about Sweden. Back in the day they had that whole 30 years war thing and the Swedes kicked lots of European butt.

Switzerland could be a safe bet, or you could just live on yacht that sails around the world, stopping only for provisions.

As long as you're around other people, there is going to be conflict and violence. It's an unfortunate side effect of human nature.

yea, aruba is hurting for tourists now and im sure real estate is suffering because of it too. if i would be a high roller like some guys here i would invest. aruba is a really nice island, definately one of the best in the caribbean.
