Who hates it when your Webserver Caches the previous file, Like if i go onto

www.website.com/index.html and i replace it with the new file also called index.html AND overwrite it, it shows the OLD index.html instead of the new one, so then you have to goto the trouble of either Renaming the files and deleting the old ones so their is absolutly NO trace of old files to be shown OR go around to EVERY pc thats been onto your website and Delete Cookies and Offline Files AND Clear History, GOD ive just wasted 30 mins of my life due to caching LOL!!!!!! sama:

You usually have a Refresh button in any good FTP client.

At least, the ones I used had one.

What client are you using?

I had FlashFXP and now it's CuteFTP, they both work perfectly.

Okay.

Well, you can buy another one or live with this one ;p

If it's a refresh problem, you should report it to them, maybe they have a fix or they will make one.

That's possible too. I don't really know how it's all working on the hosting company side

Never had to deal with caching, except from my browser from time to time.

I don't hate it that much ;p

Yea, caching has nothing to do with your ftp software and is just cached in your browser. Try the ctrl + f5 method and if that doesn't work delete your temporary internet files.....

There are no-cache headers and meta tags you can use to force browsers to always retrieve the latest version.
Code:
<meta http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache">
<meta http-equiv="Expires" content="-1">
<meta http-equiv="CACHE-CONTROL" content="NO-CACHE">
