Aug 7 (Reuters) - Vocus Inc. (VOCS.O: Quote, Profile, Research) on Monday said it acquired privately held online press release newswire PRWeb for about $28 million.
The terms consisted of $20.8 million in cash and 494,543 Vocus shares, the provider of on-demand software for corporate communications and public relations said.
Vocus also assumed certain liabilities and acquired certain assets of PRWeb, including its online distribution network and other technology. (Reporting by Shikhar Balwani in Bangalore)
