That is one of the most awful things I've ever heard. Suicide is something that is truely unbelievable. Why would someone think the best thing they could possibly do is kill themselves? It doesn't make any sense at all.

One of my good friends from high school killed himself last year because he broke up with his girlfriend of a year. It was very distressing and no one could understand. I'll never know what to think or why he was driven to do it.

By committing suicide you hurt everyone in your life. It's selfish and cowardly and almost unforgivable.

weirdo! BB sucks and to do something like that well, she deserves it. Hanging yourself or even pretending is pathetic and anyone who does it deserves what they get. In this case I think my previous comments might anger people or many might disagree but an 11year old knows what she is doing and that it is wrong. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone tbh

Do you really belive that the underlying issue was because she couldn't watch BB? I think there were some deeper issues than that......

Eh I'm a fan of BB, but sometimes I miss the show due to work. Then I usually download the episode, or find a spoiler online telling me what it was. No suicide here.

It would be pretty hard for Google to cope with the press if someone killed themself because they make their lifesavings from Google and they shut their account for no reason!

I do not believe this was suicide.

Amonst a lot of young girls and boys there is a game called "choking game" or Passout game, Space Monkey and Black out.

It is a deadly "entertainent", very young to teen children play. I remember doing it when I was in elementary through chest compression.

This "game" kills many children, and it is not unique to any specific country, race or creed.

It does give a strange "rush", and a lot of children that die from it, try to create the same rush alone.

This is not the same as auto-erotic asphyxia.

Libertate, I really don't think that was what happened. Even if there was it chance that is was, why would she be doing it alone?

I'm with Mike on this. Why would someone suicide over not being able to watch a show? I'm sure there could be some other reason that caused this girl to suicide.

Yeah I also agree that it just wasn't that. Her mom probably didn't let her do anything, and that just made her explode.

Children participate in this choking "game" alone much of the time. I know of several families affected. One child hung themselves with a belt over a closet (alone in their room) playing the game. The problem is the belt didn't release in time and they died. Another used the chain on an outdoor swing and that didn't release either. Two dead children playing the choking game alone...and it wasn't suicide.

It's really sad all around, honestly. I think there were other issues, but I hope the family can get peace about this someday.
