You know, with so many crazy things happening in this world, it's easy to fall into a hum drum existance. I try to stop often and think of fun things and things that make me happy.
For me I would have to say that my family makes me happy,(for the most part). When I see my Granddaughters eyes light up when she sees me, the way she hugs and kisses me, her laughter, watching her expressions when I take her somewhere new, man these are the ties that bind. When my wife is excited to see me when I get home, her nurturing embrace. My sons doing better in their lives. My friends calling.
I know I'm old fasioned, but, these people in my life are truly a blessing. I hope yours are too. Other things that make me happy: the smell of coffee in the morning, eating junk food in the day and Ribs for dinner. It don't get better than that.

I just sit and stare and think, at least I'm not that guy (points to this emo kid i know)

What works for me is the old quote
( You have probably heard it )
" Happiness is the active pursuit of obtainable goals."
When the emphasis is on " Active" happiness can not be too far behind.
