I currently have one 17" LCD monitor, but thought about getting another one. I never had 2 monitors before but a friend of mine told me it's very usefull for coding and stuff as you can have desktop on one monitor and lets say dreamweaver or ultraedit on another. What's your practise?

Nope, I'm currently on a 15.4" laptop. However, my next desktop will more than likely have dual monitors.

How have you found the widescreen monitors to work for you as compared to a regular one?

I'm on a single 19" LCD monitor right now. It's enough (for now at least).

Yep, one 15" and the other is 17" I think (could even be 17" and 19" I've never measured and I didn't set it up :P ) ... It makes work alot easier for me I can have notepad open in one and a browser open in another and edit a website and preview really quickly - or i'll have a website open in one and our admin panel open in the other and i don't lose where i'm up to with the website while i take a support call

I don't think I could manage to just have one screen anymore, I've had at least dual head since about 2001. I even get agitated when I'm stuck just using my laptop
