If you were sent here by someone called Stone Evans, can you let me see where his post on EF is? It seems Stone's referring a bunch of people, who are mostly hawking his ebook using generic ebook sales pages. If it's any good, of there's some great blog where Stone's dispensing advice, I'd like to read it myself.

NO...it's not a spam attack! We are real people learning how to make money on the internet. Stone provides us with a 30 day training manual that shows us day by day how to get started and make money on the internet. I have an integrated website that promotes 5 affiliate programs and more besides a free membership to the Warrior Forum! ALL the gurus hang out at the Warrior Forum....great place to learn fromthe experienced.

(spammers are real people btw)

If you read this forum, you will realize there are 'no special programs' that do it all, or books, or movies that really show you how to make thousands. What will make you money (of course if you dedicated, etc.) is a good forum (like this one) to read and ask questions and then some hard work.

And it just so happens you're all using duplicate content websites that are going to sell the magical solution, right?

For my 200th post, I have the pleasure of noting that others have already raised flags about this pyramid scheme before:

http://www.scam.com/showthread.php?t=2303
http://www.scam.com/printthread.php?t=2519

You buy Evans' stuff, he earns commissions from referring you to a hosting service, then you buy more Evans stuff and hope other people buy through you. Notice also that the people defending PIPS at the scam forums have 2-3 posts. Oh, and the fact they've been BANNED.

Re: PluginProfitSite
I joined plug in profits about 16 days ago. If your a beginner this is a GREAT way to get started on internet marketing. There is a 30 day Training Course which is GOOD but BEWARE. There CAN be many hidden costs to this program. Stone is a solid marketer and shows you ways to do things for FREE but then shows you an even quicker way by buying another service.

I have bought almost ALL of his reccomendations. Avoid the following though:

PAY PER CLICK stuff like adwords, MUCH to competitive and frustrating for the beginner.

Stick to CHEAP ezine advertising, don't waste $147 on the Directory of Ezines which is total BS. I asked for a refund 3 times...still ignoring me. I'm just going to take it up with my credit card company.

Buy the monthly Get Response package. The bonus he gives you for paying for a year in advance is LAME and repetitive.

you should BUY powerlinking and the content propulsion lab sites. They are INVALUBLE!

I have since stopped promoting PiPs with any thing online that costs money. All of my advertising is done offline in CAREFULLY placed newspaper classifieds around the country.

All in All Plug in Profits with Stone Evans is a GOOD program but be prepared to work and stick to it, AND be prepared for hidden costs, like any business.

Re: PluginProfitSite
Hello All,

I got a plug-in-profit site in January. In my opinion the best thing about it is the free 30-day step-by-step training course. I knew absolutely zero about affiliate marketing, or newsletters, etc, and this course taught me a lot. In my opinion, the course has more information than some expensive e-books like the rich jerk, etc, and I will be able to apply what I learned in the course elsewhere. It is not a scam, in that it really was set up for me in 24 hours as advertised. How much money you make from it is really up to your efforts-- it is not an automatic revenue machine.

It is true that you have to join Empowerism (about 20 dollars a month) to get your site set up, but once your site is up and running, you can cancel your Empowerism membership if you don't find it useful and still keep your plug-in-profit site. You also have to enroll in SFI, but this is free and if you don't want to do anything with SFI (I've heard some people say it is great, and some people are against it), you don't have to. Since you do not have to pay for the set up of the site, your only cost would be your web hosting.

I hope this helps.

Good luck,

Kevin

My Findings
It seems that a lot of PIPS members are joining EarnersForum.com because it has been included in their Day 5 tutorials.

Not sure if Lee made any sort of advertising deal or if Evans is actually using this place cleanly to help his members or for advertising purposes. I am sure a lot of the members are ginuwine, but I wouldnt expect PIPS to be gone from EarnersForum.com for a while since people will probably sign up everyday from there..

Bookworm-SEO,

I have something I want to add on the comment you posted from Scam.com

Here are the basic things you get from Stone's program

5 affiliate programs you must sign up
1 website with your affiliate links populated all over the page
400 days of pre-written follow up content with a free auto responder
50 leads monthly from the Paid empowerism membership
1 web hosting service (Required for any web business, host4profit is a very basic web hosting service, most advance users move their content to another service after a month or 2)

For someone who just started with no knowledge of affiliate marketing, lead generating, web hosting, website building, and auto responder. This is a great automated system since its got basic components built in already.

Of course there are other business expenses required to promote this business such as PPC advertising, list building service, auto responders, and etc...

There is no magic formula in building a successful business, dedication and additional investment is required to fuel the growth of each business. Everyone have their opinion when it comes to starting up a new business, we all just have to find the ones we see fit best to us and stick with it.

So, as a Newbie I am wondering, have we been misinformed about coming
here to join and learn about forums and marketing and affiliate scams?
The 30 day training manual really is a rather helpful source for those of us
who aren't that keen on how to go about making money at internet marketing.

The course/manual whatever may be legitimate, but it looks like someone's taking advantage of newbs' lack of information to sell them information they could get free elsewhere, and earn affiliate commissions too. Not illegal that I can tell, but not something you'd tell your mother about either.

Make that 1 entirely duplicated website that even links to Stone's original version, so he may get commissions from your work. Forget SEO of course.
400 days of duplicate content. Whoopdy do...
50 qualified leads? Or 50 people in the phone book or whose emails were scraped or something along those lines? If they are from the phone book, I've got a good one you'd like: 3 million leads I'll sell you for only $399 (really worth $3 million!!)

Just my humble opinion. Incidentally, Stone's a member here whose one post I couldn't find when I clicked find threads by stone, then clicked find posts. He's contributing to populating the forum, but why not contribute his apparently expansive knowledge?

I have a full-time job as a Data Entry Operator which
leaves limited time to pursue possibilities in the evenings.
I am also working through the SiteBuild It Action Guide
but haven't gotten far enough to actually put up a website.
I do have one of my own websites through HomePage Universe
and when I have enough posts I can tell you where my URL is
and you can see for yourself why I need some helpful training.
Oh and I really don't have a clue about autoresponders, ezine
publishing, and forums. Can you tell this is my first forum adventure??:helpsmilie:

Stone is giving us a blueprint at least to get us started.:scooter:

Thank you. I appreciate an honest reply. Tell me more
about how to spot the duds or is the whole point that
we should build are own website and spend time/money
advertising to promote ourselves?

Are PlugInProfit Sites used to just advertise an "Ebook" and get other people to buy it and make a commision from the sale?

I really don't see how that can be more profitable then other ventures open to people online. It looks exactly like a pyramid scheme in my eyes.

Im not trying to blame anyone here for anything, just trying to understand.

If you were to check out Stone's training Day 5, you would see that Stone has only good to say about any program that he promotes in all of his training.
hmmm, maybe we could all learn from his example.??
Some people have nothing good to say about anything. What a sad life.
As with ANYTHING worthwhile, you have to stick with it. Winners never quit, quitters never win.
If you are a newbie to internet money, check out Plug In For Profit. Do your due diligence. Any business will require money to get it up and going. There may other business that are more suitable to you. There may not. It's up to you, but if you are the kind of person who quits too soon, then PIP probably isn't for you, but then nothing is going to work for you.
Somebody is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree. Not yesterday, but years ago. You will reap what you sow- if you don't yank out the seed before it sprouts.

Many of the online business opportunities offer complete duplicated websites links directly to the company's homepage with the members unique id. I believe this is quiet common.

The 400 day pre-written follow up email is completely change able. It gives me the change to see example of how follow letters needs to be drafted, and I can modify them with my own message and personality into it.

The 50 leads you recieved from empowerism.com/e/102650 are actually leads generated from empowerism sales page. So these leads are not phone book leads but rather serious prospects who are seeking business opportunties.

I will pass on your 3 million dollar offer, Thanks.

I got the PIPS as a base to built my web business. I don't have enough html knowledge to built the site from scratch nor the marketing copy writing ability for my autoresponder. The ready made template website & follow up system was easy to configure after setup for me to customize towards the product or business I am promoting. It will probably take me several months trying to learn how to built the similiar system. Hope that answers your questions.

BP,

PIPS is notjust an ebook, its actually downline building website page.

The affiliate programs in PIPS have been proven to work for thousand of people.

Trafficswarm- Surf Advertising
Internet marketing Center founded by Cory Rudl
Empowerism - Great marketing training site
Host4profit - by Allan Says & the Warrior group
Strong Future International -SFI is the exclusive marketing arm for the IAHBE (International Association of Home Business Entrepreneurs)

You can & will earn commission on selling service, business training products, nutritional products, books, CD, hosting, and much more. Or simply built a strong downline overtime marketing companies with proven business & products. So this are not a pyramid scheme.

Take a look at the companies I mentioned above. I can't post link to those sites, but links to them can be found on my signature link. Hope this address to some of your concerns.

Hi I am kingsley,
I joined Stone program a few days ago and I MUST SAYTHAT HIS 30 TUTORIAL IS HELPFUL.Like someone has said earlier what I will just do is unsubcribe in the empowerism program if I cannot continue withgood result and concentrate on the ones that are making returns.I will also suggest that you refrain from buying tooo many of the products of others he refers you too except it is absolutely neccessary. The Perry Marshall Guide to Adword is verygood though and youdont want todo adword if youare not tutored about it ,because you may lose money! All in all it is a good learning process fr me who has not really marketed anything on the net before and it has opened up some other avenue for me.
Anyay there are other search engines that you can place your advert that are less technical than google.
