Hey Guys,

I was just wondering if anybody here was a member of the BlackHatSEO forums. I read somewhere that membership was $100/month or $1,000/year. This to me seems insane, and I was just curious to know if any members want to step forward and appraise the service

Thanks

Yeah, it's $100 a month - Introductory price. It already has 437 members, so the owner must be raking it in!

I wonder how many people actually paid though. Is it a scheme to merely generate interest or are they actually already paying for forum access?

I'd imagine quite a lot of them are paying for it... SEOBlackhat is one of the best BH resources out there, and attracts quite a lot of serious 'Blackhatters'.

Do you think their quality justifies paying $100 per month for?

I wouldn't pay $100/month, especially for blackhat.

It's a redundant option for me since I don't desire to learn about SEO at the moment, however feel free and post here how it turns out

I didn't think it was worth it. It might be a good resource if you're an excellent coder, but I didn't benefit much from it. A lot of stuff has to do with spamming blogs and what not. Not really my cup of tea.

I have followed (but not implemented) some of the blackhat techniques.

They mainly revolve around gaming links from various sources to spammy blogs with revenue coming from adsense.

Ditto. I understood maybe 2% of what was written and it sounded very shady. I'd rather just build sites and make it popular.
