I have only just recently found all the different techniques for online markiting eg affiliates

I quit my job 6 months age but the program I was with claimed to teach online marketing but it was a load of crap they did'nt know a thing.

about 2 weeks ago I signed up with my business venture and I recieve more visitors a day than I use to get a month from my other 2 websites.

Howeever I did find it a little late and have been evicted from my house can't put petrol in the car and my credit rating is shot to s&*t but I don't want to get a job all I want to do is build my online business so I can get the residual income that I want and that's all I think about.

so should I get a job or keep doing what I'm doing

be honest

Yes.... get a job.

Once you have a job and your finances start to get back in order you'll find your mind more free to be creative and really come up with new ideas and how to make money online.

There's also the plain and simple fact that making money on the internet with no training, planning, thought, and time put into it doesn't happen over night unless you're extremely lucky. If you're looking to suddenly start earning enough to pay all your bills in less than a month (which it appears you have before you starve to death) then quit dreaming.

The only scenario I would recommend you not getting a job in is if you are single with no wordly responsibilities and have someone to mooch off of for a few months. i.e. you can live with your parents while you get your biz going. Even then the going will be tough because you'll be trying to start a business up with no capital.

Other than that, get a job (any job) get a plan, get your finances back in order and attack this thing like seriously with a few cards in your favor.

Hi cwillcox,

I fully agree with GeorgeB. You will need some money to keep up your online business, for there are certain costs that you must have (internet, hosting, adsense, PPC and so on).
My friend, get yourself a job and when your internet business is up and running and when you feel you can make a living out of it, then quit your job. Not until then I would say.

Hope everything works out well for you! Remeber this ====> failure is not an option!

Cheers
D

The most important thing is finding a stable job that can get you back on your feet. After you feel comfortable with everything, then you should start your online business a little. I do freelancing but I go to school most of the day and still make around $120-$220 a day. My career is military, designing is just a hobby. Make your online business just a hobby or something that can still earn you money.
