Okay, I'm looking for a new pc screen.

I was considering the dell 2407 widescreen (A03) but it seems to be having a ton of problems at the moment.

I'm looking for something in the mid-hundred's range. Decent sized. I was thinking 24", but 21" is acceptable as well. Widescreen. This will be my primary PC screen and also used for TV and other digital entertainment.

Suggestions?

I highly recommend the SAMSUNG widescreen 21" LCD. I bought one a few days ago and it's working out great!

i had a philips last a long time, and then a viewsonic. I now have a mitsubish which I bought used and has some minor flickering. I would probably buy a viewsonic again, as that lasted me about 8 years.

My dad bought an aOpen 19 inch LCD from a computer shop's booth at a hamfest . I think it was $230? I don't remember exactly but I remember that at the time it was one of the cheapest. It is very clear sharp and bright. I can't say how well it holds up as my dad has only had it for a while but so far so good. Good luck finding one. Make sure you let us know if you get one what kind you got.

an acer 19inch wide screen lvd monitor, model number is 1916w. Awesome for watching dvd's, great for playing games and you can have two application windows (ie excel and word windows) open and visible next to each other on the wide screen
