I actually did some experimenting where I pointed my adwords traffic to a one-page gateway (http://www.import-duty.com) and then switched to a more content driven website (http://www.itintl.com). Google immediately upcharged the gateway page 800% more than the content site. I saw from the logs what looked like a manual review of the sites and the increase in minimum bids came immediately after. The upside is that after switching my ads away from the content site and back again, I triggered another manual review and they lowered the minimum bids on http://www.itintl.com

Since the Google slap was designed to discourage the "made for AdSense" sites, I did a little research on that as well. Check out the article at: http://www.howtoadvertise.net/dont_a...se_adsense.php

Hi,
Not only MIA (Made for Instant Adsense) sites, it actually targets affiliate sites.
I wonder whether those people at google are tooooo free.

Really? Why would they target affiliates?

Because for some reason they expect paid advertisements to be relevant as well. I mean... it's a frickin paid ad!!

But on the other hand what better excuse to charge you more?

Yea the google slap has killed some adsense arbitragers, but there are new ways to doing it legit now and also making money at the same time.
