Hello,

I have just got a free credit into my newly-created Moniker account to register a domain name using the following promotion:

1- Complete the form at the following Website: http://www.moniker.com/freedomain/index.jsp

2- Insert "eComXpo" in the Event Name box.

3- Click "Submit" after completeing the form.

4. You will receive your Moniker account ID and password into your email within two business days and your FREE account will have a FREE credit of $9.25 for you to use for domain registration or transfer. You choose any available .COM, .NET. .BIZ, .INFO, .ORG, or .US domain.

What's the catch? Do you have to pay for the next year?

There's no catch, from what I can see. You can always transfer it away to another registrar at the end of the year, if you want. The only restriction to that is that you can't transfer away within the first 60 days.

Anyway, I got my free domain last week. It was one of many freebies at eComXpo.

I think they stopped doing the free domains due to fraud.

But I'm happy with my free .us domain
