Hello. I am thinking about starting a free sms website. Are they hard to run? Do they cost a lot of money to host? Can they be profitable? Thanks a lot for your time. Hopefully, these questions are not too stupid.

As far as I know they are decent on bandwidth and shouldn't cost more than any other site to host. The only thing that may be a problem would be finding a good script. That you may have to buy. And, yes they can be profitable.

Its quite saturated. Takes teeny bandwith, just make sure you have flood protect of some sort on or it'll destroy your apache.
