my favorite add-ons are:

downloadthemall - great for 1click downloading of videos, pictures, text files, practically anything
adblock plus - was a huge fan of admuncher until they started charging for upgrades - this is better, and free!
google toolbar - couldn't live without it. use it for email, news, rss, browsing for pics
extension options - one place to tweak all your firefox addon option settings
trackmenot - anonymous surfing from your own browser. verra nice
fasterfox - i think it works
stumbleupon - i'm rarely bored online, but this always finds sites I've never heard of!
google gmail manager - another tool I couldn't live without
google browser sync - nice to have all my bookmarks wherever I go

Seo for Firefox - shows various site details (PR, links, age etc) when using google/yahoo search.

InFormEnter - Lets you enter predefined details into forms. I use it to submit tutorials to 15-20 sites in a couple of minutes.

Google Pagerank Status - pretty self explanatory
Google Toolbar - Has some helpful tools in it
Greasemonkey - For all those ugly websites
RefControl - Control what gets send as the HTTP Referer on a per-site basis
RitOfToungue - Because I can't spell
Screen Grab - Very handy for a quick screenshot of the browser
SEOpen - Some SEO stuff
StumbleUpon - For your favorite sites
Web Developer - Lots of very helpful tools in the right click

Submit 'em now

This extension submits you site to a bunch of RSS sites. I used it for one of my sites last night. It steps through a list of RSS submission sites and autofills your information. All you do is submit or skip to the next site.

I will let you know if it works. Not sure what to expect as far as a traffic increase.

Yeah, it just displays the pagerank and alexa ranking of a website at the bottom of firefox. I think this is it: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/321/
