A domain is not a website. When you buy a domain all you get is the name. The other things are hosting. Whilst often they are sold as a package they are actually very different things.

I hear 1and1 are good, but I went with ukreg.com

I've been using 1and1 for the past 3 years and I have no complain.

I heard some people talking bad about them, saying that it was always down and blablabla, but I've never experienced this.

Anyway, you can try it for free if I remember correctly, or you can start with a little packages (it's like $2,99 per month and 3 months minimum, so worst case scenario, you lose $10).

what about namecheap? does it give only domain(name) or hosting too?
