I haven't saw an Internet advertisement while using Firefox in over a year. I am a dedicated user of Adblock, Adblock Plus, and Filterset G Updater extensions. These nifty little extensions remove all advertisement: flash, text, graphic, banner, pop-ups, and all other ad types. I can never go back.

I wonder if as more people discover Firefox and it's power, if Adsense revenue will steadily decline?

I'm sure it will. But the people who are savvy enough to actually use these tools are usually the people who don't click on ads to begin with.

If these tools do manage to gain in popularity to the point that website owners cannot make a living with ads, I expect we will see a large shift to private advertising, or even many sites making their content subscription based.

To add to that, I imagine these advertisers are already working toward to solutions to get around these blocks. I personally wouldn't mind having a product installed on my sites that recognized browsers using these blocking tools and block them from viewing my content.
