Has anyone seen this little movie yet? It is about the "law of attraction" as it relates to success in business and life. IMO, it is excellent and in tune with everything I've read over the years about what it takes to be successful.

While "The Secret" movie talks about things most of us have already heard or read about, it illustrates important principles for success in a different way that helps the viewer to "get it" more quickly, IMO.

I watched it recently, it's a good motivational movie.

Definately worth watching if you need a good kick in the head that will motivate you

I think The Secret is a fantastic movie that beautifully illustrates what it is meant to. I know countless people who have benefited from watching it and applying the principles, myself included. For me, it illustrated the power of thought in a unique form.
Look in the business section of your local bookstore:
THINK & Grow Rich
Secrets Of The Millionaire MIND
THINK Like a Billionaire, Become a Billionaire
The list goes on and on.
The basic "secret" to all success is thought. Think good things, and achieve great things.
Furthermore, take action on your thoughts to make them a reality.

I wish my family would watch this. My sister's husband didn't want to go see the 500k houses because he would get depressed because he can't afford them. When I go into those, I simply get inspired. Knowing I can't afford them motivates me to do better and eventually I know I'll be able to afford one of those houses. This movie taught me how to think like this.

It's funny you say this. I just went today to look at model homes in the nicest area around. I like going around to open houses and model homes to get inspired. Just like they said in the movie, you have to feel it. I use those images I've acquired to build a mental "vision board." So far, I've gotten business ideas like crazy, and I'm taking action. I have many business projects coming to fruition within the next few months that will be insanely successful. Everyone I talk to is amazed at the ideas and excited to see what happens. I'll have my multi-million dollar home in no time.

The Secret Movie is full of crap!...If you have watched it, then where is your Ferrari's mate? the arguments and explanations put forward in The Secret are alternately unscientific, mystical, nonsensical or just plain wrong while I agree with the Law of Attraction I think the real secret behind the secret movie is how they marketed the darn thing.

I don't think that can wake up one morning, wish for a Ferrari and get it by the end of the day. And I must say that I think that you completely missed the point.

The Secret is to focus, to set your mind on the goal you want to achieve, to devote all your attention to that and only that so that ideas to reach your goal will start to flow into your mind and said goal will be reachable.

That's the secret.

I do believe in the law of attraction, however, I do not believe that we attract EVERYTHING that happens in our lives.

One of the teachers in the Secret movie, Joe Vitale, says that we attract EVERYTHING that happens in our lives. On Larry King, Vitale said the 9 year old girls who was recently kidnapped, raped and buried alive attracted that!!!!! He said "children unconsciously attract."

People like Joe Vitale foolishly assert that we are little gods, and I don't believe in that theology. There's God, there's man, and man is not in control over everything. Evil exists in this world. Things happens that we cannot explain.

A buddy of mine has a down syndrone child, and Vitale would say he and his wife attracted that to themselves.

Are we to believe that everyone who died on 9/11 attracted that to themselves? Some of the teachers in the Secret movie actually believe that baloney.

I'm all for changing mindset and focusing on what you want instead of what you don't want, but I just can't get with man having control over everything based on thought. Control over most things, maybe, but not everything.

I agree with Fredto's views. Recently, I came across a thought-provoking free report titled "Attraction Acceleration Report" by Bob Procter which gives more details on The Law of Attraction. I find it interesting and enlightening. If anyone of you are interested in this, please e-mail to me.
