a lot of those numbers seem, well, like BS to me.

I'm a 'software engineer' as the title goes.... Senior Developer at the firm I work for.


1. Software Engineer
Average salary : $80,500 more than I make.... and this assume ALL levels, not just senior.

Stress : B bahahahahahahah more like A+
Flexibility: B A. my hours are very flexible, until deadlines come up. then you work 24/7 for 3 days straight.
creativity: A ehh, not really. A lot of the time, you're stuck fixing someone elses crap that was coded like crap, un documented, and some non-programming asshat has this 'vision' in his head of what it should look like
Ease of Entry: C i will agree with this.... its tough to get a foot in with 0 experience.
