I can't believe Apple is finally going to end up releasing their own iPhone! The pictures for it look amazing and really sleek, with a ton of options.

Think you're gonna get one as soon as it comes out? It's coming out in June 2007, according to TechCrunch. Their stock is also on the rise too - lol

Probably because they announced an Apple TV as well :P

I read through Steve Jobs' keynote and rundown of the iPhone... I want one in the WORST way, but it's $500, I'm a verizon customer, it would cost me another $200 to get out of my contract early, and I'm sure the plan you have to buy to get the full use of this phone is hugely expensive.

I'd luuuuuuurrrrve to get one, but I doubt I will. I'm also a verizon customer and I'm on a family plan so I could never cancel the plan.

I haven't been staying up-to-date on this, but does anyone know which wireless company Apple will be teaming up with? Cingular..?

I personally won't get one because I know others will copy it and do it better soon.

Heh has anyone ever REALLY thought about how many times they've seen the RAZR after it came out? Nearly everyone got it for christmas and birthdays, maybe the iPhone will replace that

Looks neat, but I'd much rather have something that's more of an ultraportable PC than a phone. Take the Sony VAIO VGN-UX180P and put it in an iPhone-like form factor, and I'd be all over it.

I heard they don't have a case since it was a rumor and Apple doesn't have a trademark, but I don't know how it played out..

I am a cingular (AT&T) customer, so hopefully I'll be able to just add a couple of years to my contract. Also, I know an Apple employee, so I hope to get a discount... Can't wait.

I voted "No" because I probably won't have an opportunity to get it in Croatia and I definitely decided not to spend more than $150 on mobile phone ever in my life...

The iPhone looks promising, but I can't imagine it being all that great as a business/communication phone, with the new tech that is the touchscreen keyboard, and MacOSX Mobile which probably won't have ANY 3rd party apps, I don't think it'll be able to compete with something like a Treo out of the box.

Plus those demos on the website are just theoretical, the performance probably won't be that consistent and smooth.

It will make other cell phone manufacturers do something to compete though.

The 2nd Generation iPhone, with the improved interface, and force feedback touchscreen(wishful thinking) is what I'll probably put my money on.:yes:
